TWO TYPES OF PRODIGAL SONS

As with any posting from anyone I do my best to try to communicate what is on my heart the best that I can. Please take all matters to the Lord in prayer. It is NOT my will that anyone be deceived. The enemy is after all of us, including me! I pray the Holy Spirit bears witness to all of you. If not then it could be for a different time in your walk with the Lord. DO NOT ACCEPT WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES NOT REVEAL BUT PRAY INTO IT. God bless the saints of the Lord and may the fullness of His love and spirit dwell and manifest richly within you.

We all know the story of the prodigal son which was each of us in some way before coming to the Lord in repentance and receiving the mercy, love and grace of salvation through faith. The prodigal son “wanted his best life now” (many false prophets preach this) and asked his father for his inheritance now and not having to wait for his father’s death. The son wanted to “live high on the hog” a metaphor for living luxurious or in prestige.

What transpired was the complete opposite as the inheritance was wasted foolishly and the son ended up being the hog with no real life!

Parable of the Lost Son

¹¹ Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. ¹² And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. ¹³ And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. ¹⁴ But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. ¹⁵ Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. ¹⁶ And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.

¹⁷ “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! ¹⁸ I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, ¹⁹ and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’

²⁰ “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. ²¹ And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

²² “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. ²³ And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; ²⁴ for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.

²⁵ “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. ²⁶ So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. ²⁷ And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’

²⁸ “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. ²⁹ So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. ³⁰ But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’

³¹ “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. ³² It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’ ”

THE SON’S OF GOD BECOME PRODIGALS OF THE CHURCH

When a born again Christian desires and seeks the deeper things of Christ and has a hunger for the fullness of Christ that person is excommunicated, ridiculed, slandered, mocked and forced to remove themselves from the brethren that rejects him/her. You see being “born again” is the indwelling Holy Spirit which is the call to be the fullness Christ becoming a “Son of God” just as Christ Jesus is the Father’s Son.

There are very very few that have the commitment, desire and hunger for righteousness because of the suffering involved and persecution involved which is the refiners fire! Many want the power and “fire of Jesus” but not the refiners fire which burns out the dross of impurities! They want “spiritual milk” and want to “suckle like a new born” and never desire to grow in spiritual maturity. These same people wonder why they don’t hear the voice of God or grow in revelations of Christ Jesus. So they become just as it’s written in the Word of God and persecute those who desire the complete and fullness of being a “SON OF GOD” and not just a “babe who still suckles”. The bible says a grown man leaves his home to marry! Thus those who seek to be true Son’s of God must leave their home/brethren to grow in Christ Jesus. This however is exactly what is needed! When Saul became Paul he left the Pharisees and never returned to the Pharisees yet wished they would come to Christ also. Every single disciple was taught by the Spirit of God. Far to many people believe it was the Son of Man who taught but it was not! This is why so many sit under false prophets today and embrace doctrines of demons.

Well if we are the “bride” we must often leave the “church” to become one with our Bridegroom. Oh how they preach do not forsake the assembly but it is the assembly forsakes Christ that abandons the call of the “bride” to make herself ready for the Bridegroom!

After all, are you getting married to the brethren or the Bridegroom? So they take scripture and twist it to appear to be godly and holy and they are wicked and poor just as Revelations tell us. They think highly of themselves and look down on you mocking the work of Christ in you! Jealousy is a murdering spirit and that is the attempt to get you to conform to them in sleep and false rest. So the Son’s of God are spiritual prodigals of the church they once attended. Mediocrity, apathy and sleep are the natural things of the church you once were a part of as they lull themselves to sleep. Your faith is your own and that is by design because your salvation is between you that the one who is divine, Christ Jesus!

So you see the paradox of the prodigals which one is the lost son who is spiritually dead and the other that is a mature Son of God seeking the image and likeness of his Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. The church you once adored has become a cross themselves in hopes to quench your desire for the fullness of Christ Jesus. They do not know and do not understand what it is to be a spiritual man! Do not be dismayed as this is the will of God for you. So in the loneliness of no fellowship among the brethren you turn to your best friend, Christ Jesus finding greater love than the brethren ever dreamed of. In your loneliness the Lord has allowed you draw closer to Him as Jesus walks with you in the “garden” of your heart.

This is he same tale told in the Word of God and a testimony of the patriarchs that walked before you that rejected the ones who the Lord desired to send them to deliver and restore yet they denied Christ the one you adore. You are being built and conformed to the image of Christ and walking the path of His sufferings that Jesus has called you to grow in. So let it be known that you have true revelations of Jesus and love that endures which is stamped in your heart that those around chose to depart. You know your Savior intimately and true yet you are humble and very secure! Your faith and love grew stronger same as your revelations of truth. Your faith is now unwaivering not tossed to and fro your on the solid rock many have thrown.

So there you have it simple and true your redeemer now dwells richly in you! The pearl of great price is no longer seen as a cost for you wouldn’t have changed the process to get where you are! So greater love has sustained you and faith has endured, while others forsake you the Lord is all yours!

To the prodigals of “Son ship” few that they are, where would the world be if there were non at all! You have spiritually within you the mirror of God do not dim the reflection just keep moving on. The days are upon us that the true light must shine where Moses once hid the glory your must be revealed. The testimony of the Son of Glory will be revealed through as you bear witness to the God above all. You will witness to Satan that you are not his by revealing you are of the God above all! The journey was not easy but test and tried your race is completed in the presence of the Divine! Now enter in my faithful servant and find rest and pure peace for all of this you see is your through Me says the Lord. As it is written so it shall be that is the Son’s of God displayed in the end of all time revealing the victory that was written before time.

There are truly Son’s of God who have become prodigals sons of the church they once adored. Just as Paul wrote from prison the feelings the same the desire to be there has not changed but spiritual hindrance is NOT A GAME!
